Position

Itoh Denki USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer of electrical motors for material handling industry is seeking a dependable, responsible individual for a full-time position in our Production Department. Applicant must have the ability to maintain a production schedule.

• In charge of receiving, stocking, parts distribution and inventory.
• Check for damaged goods, and prepare and keep records of goods received.
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing parts or materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Assemble boxes for items needing to be shipped
• Package items for shipping
• Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insure that shipments are properly packaged, identify against shipping documentation.
• Other duties as instructed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Buffing pipe.
• In charge of receiving, stocking, parts distribution and inventory.
• Check for damaged goods, and prepare and keep records of goods received.
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing parts or materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Assemble boxes for items needing to be shipped
• Package items for shipping
• Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents; insure that shipments are properly packaged, identify against shipping documentation.
• Other duties as instructed.
  
  

Requirements

Possesses knowledge of the structure and function of production equipment.

Is able to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.

Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.

Pays close attention to detail.

Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.

Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines.

Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively

Works efficiently and manages time effectively.

Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate product parts.

Education And Experience

High school diploma or GED is required.

Certification and licensing to operate factory machinery is strongly preferred.

Previous experience in factory or warehouse setting is recommended.

Work Environment

Standard 40-hour workweek applies.

Working hours will be spent in the factory or warehouse.

Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis.

Safety gear, such as goggles, gloves, and helmets should be worn on a regular basis.
