About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role located just south of Tampa, FL—close enough to enjoy the energy of the city, yet far enough to offer a relaxed pace of life. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a production team across machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing
• Drive shop floor execution and continuous improvement in a job-shop environment
• Use ERP systems to manage scheduling, inventory, and labor tracking
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to ensure feasibility, timing, and profitability
• Champion cross-training, communication, and accountability across departments
• Analyze capacity and workflow to inform capital equipment and staffing decisions
• Maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards in a dynamic, custom setting

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership (supervisor, foreman, or manager level)
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, welding, press brake, laser/plasma cutting, and related processes
• Comfortable in low-volume, high-mix production settings (job shop or custom fabrication)
• Hands-on leadership style with strong floor presence and people skills
• Experience using ERP systems for scheduling and shop operations
• Proven ability to stabilize teams, implement process improvements, and lead with empathy
