Position: Vice President, Retail Leasing
Location: Retail Leasing Team in Washington DC. On-site in Washington, DC.
What this job involves- Execute new business development by participating in cold calling, converting calls to meetings, and winning new business.
- Grow client relationships by attending client meetings, conducting property tours, developing follow-up materials (lease comparisons, market overviews, property summary books, proposals) and maintaining prospect contact information.
- Maintain and update the Brokerage Team's market research database and activities in JLLs CRM.
- Support client transaction process by reviewing quantitative data, legal documents, and using Excel-based analytical tools including financial models, cash flow projections, valuation models, and sensitivity analyses.
- Collaborate with research and team members to compile market information and statistics to assemble materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants & economic analysis.
- Participate in brokerage meetings and provide market research to support presentations, reports and deliverables.
- Contribute to local market research requests: market snapshots, market overviews, quarterly market decks, and topic-specific research to support pitches and opportunities.
Required
- 3-5+ years in commercial real estate brokerage with proven high-level sales production
- State Real Estate License
- Strong computer orientation and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and the ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information into strategic deliverables
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, time management, organizational, written and verbal communication skills; proactive and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Project management capabilities including multi-tasking, prioritization, deadline management; able to work independently and in a team
- Desire to work in a diverse, collaborative, driven professional environment with a positive attitude
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate or related field
Estimated compensation for this position: This is a commission-based role with earnings tied to performance. The range is an estimate; final compensation may differ based on qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
