GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Rover in a corporate setting?

Must be 21 years of age. Must have at least two years of receptionist / executive assistant experience. Must have an active driver's license and a clean driving record. Ideally, you have at least one year as a security guard (preferably in a corporate setting) and one year as a Security Rover. Please include your most up-to-date security resume.

What matters most in this role is sharp observation and attention to detail as you monitor screens and respond to evolving situations.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings.

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Rover
  • Customer service duties: welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
  • Manage access control
  • Work on multiple systems seamlessly and quickly
  • Adhere to email and instant-message SLAs (e.g., 5-minute email SLA, 3-minute instant-message SLA)
  • Utilize available resources effectively
  • Time management to handle high-priority events while maintaining professionalism
  • Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
  • Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
  • Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
  • Answer questions in person or by phone
  • Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
  • Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
  • Be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
  • State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32-hour BSIS trainings; additional trainings may be obtained during hiring
  • Be at least 21 years of age and have an active driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Able to pass an extensive screening process
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration
  • Strong proficiency with technology
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
  • Flexible availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays; shifts may vary and no guaranteed schedules
  • Security or military/law enforcement experience is a plus
