GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Rover in a corporate setting?
Must be 21 years of age. Must have at least two years of receptionist / executive assistant experience. Must have an active driver's license and a clean driving record. Ideally, you have at least one year as a security guard (preferably in a corporate setting) and one year as a Security Rover. Please include your most up-to-date security resume.
What matters most in this role is sharp observation and attention to detail as you monitor screens and respond to evolving situations.
As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and similar settings.

- Adhere to email and instant-message SLAs (e.g., 5-minute email SLA, 3-minute instant-message SLA)
- Utilize available resources effectively
- Time management to handle high-priority events while maintaining professionalism
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
- Answer questions in person or by phone
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32-hour BSIS trainings; additional trainings may be obtained during hiring
- Be at least 21 years of age and have an active driver's license with a clean driving record
- Able to pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report writing skills
- Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone and computer skills
- Flexible availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays; shifts may vary and no guaranteed schedules
- Security or military/law enforcement experience is a plus
