Overview
Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric cardiologist to further develop its outpatient pediatric cardiology and fetal program. The candidate should be BE/BC in pediatric cardiology and able to collaborate with a team of cardiac specialists within the division as well as other in-house and community-based providers. This position will be primarily focused on outpatient care including consultation, diagnostics, and longitudinal management of children with congenital and acquired heart disease. The role also includes general inpatient cardiology service coverage. Opportunities exist to work with other cardiology subspecialties (including EP, interventional, advanced heart failure/transplant, adult congenital, and advanced imaging) and to develop relationships with referring community providers and general pediatricians. Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care including consultation, diagnostics, and longitudinal management for children with congenital and acquired heart disease. Provide general inpatient cardiology service coverage. Collaborate with cardiology subspecialties and with in-house and community-based providers. Participate in evaluation and longitudinal follow-up of patients in various subspecialty cardiology clinics. Contribute to program development efforts to expand access and care for children regionally. Engage in academic activities if aligned with the candidate's interests. Team, Facilities, and Resources

The division includes three pediatric heart surgeons, five interventional cardiologists, two heart failure/transplant cardiologists, two electrophysiologists, three adult congenital cardiologists, and a robust cardiac imaging service. Outpatient services are supported by nurse practitioners, medical assistants, administrative staff, and access to advanced diagnostic tools. Employment Details
