Overview Geisinger is seeking BC/BE Hematologists to join well-established cancer programs at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA and Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Geisinger offers a unique opportunity for early career and experienced hematology-oncology physicians to develop their career and be part of a well-established and growing physician-led organization. Our providers are part of a collaborative team working with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver quality cancer care to our patients. Responsibilities

Provide hematology-oncology patient care as part of a multidisciplinary cancer program.

Collaborate with surgical oncology, palliative medicine, radiation oncology, pathology, diagnostic radiology, and behavioral medicine to deliver comprehensive cancer care.

Engage in education and mentorship of fellows and residents; opportunities to participate in Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine activities.

Participate in cancer clinical trials and contribute to research initiatives and the MyCode Community Health Initiative.

Support a physician-led environment that emphasizes work/life balance and community-based care.

Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required).
