General Manager Job Description Overview:

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant while ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with a leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. The role involves leading a team of Department Managers, coaching and directing to improve departments, and developing or hiring Department and Shift Managers as needed. Benefits

Run a profitable restaurant and ensure adherence to McDonald’s customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Set restaurant goals with leadership and develop a plan to achieve them. Lead a team of Department Managers, set their goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve departments. Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future. Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations. Background in quick service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants. Franchisee Disclosure
