Your Talent Source, LLC . Our client seeks a strategic, hands-on Director of Finance with experience in manufacturing. The position reports to the EVP and plays a critical role in supporting strategic growth of the organization. The Director must be a hands-on leader who is passionate about learning every aspect of the business, actively engaging with the shop floor, and driving efficiency and collaboration throughout the finance and accounting function. Key Requirements

Must be a hands-on Director with a passion for learning every aspect of the business and spending time on the shop floor. 5+ years of experience as a Controller or similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment. Recent experience in Cost Accounting, Cash Management & Project Management. 10+ years of experience in Accounting within a business environment. Experience building a culture of accountability. Proven experience selecting and overseeing ERP system implementation and integrating legacy data into new platforms. Strong business acumen and proven ability to provide strategic financial insights. Ability to ensure the team is cross-trained. Experience with Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement. Experience collaborating with senior leadership, including President and Department Managers. Strong conflict management, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting degree strongly preferred. CMA designation highly preferred. Key Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring financial integrity, streamlining processes, mentoring the team, and aligning the department with organizational goals. Learn all aspects of the accounting department and business operations, including estimating, project management, purchasing, and their integration into the accounting software. Identify opportunities to lean out processes, eliminate waste, and improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Realign the department to function as a cross-functional, fully cross-trained team. Prepare month-end closings, financial forecasts, and monthly financial reporting packages. Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable & accounts receivable. Provide financial reports and insights to the President, EVP, and Department Managers to support strategic decision-making. Manage company finances, including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Maintain and manage all banking relationships, including monthly reconciliations. Reconcile and prepare journal entries for all balance sheet, payroll, expense, and income statement accounts, as well as the statement of cash flows. Lead annual budgeting process, integrate budget into software, and ensure alignment with monthly reporting packages. Oversee company insurance programs, including general liability, workers’ compensation, and health benefits. Ensure accounting modules within the ERP system are fully reconciled to the inventory module and oversee ERP transitions, including data migration. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance profitability, improve cash flow, and support sustainable growth. Mentor, train, and coach the accounting team in a hands-on manner, building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Company Description
