Seeking a Breast Surgeon to join HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, part of Florida’s largest healthcare system with 11,000 physician colleagues. Qualified Candidates: Board certified or eligible in OBGYN or Surgery with completion of a breast surgical fellowship Current, or ability to obtain, an unrestricted license to practice in Florida—free of restrictions, probation, or conditions No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension by any licensing agency Current, unrestricted DEA registration Position: Employed with a surgical group offering advanced procedures, including robotic and minimally invasive techniques NO Emergency Department call required Provide care for breast cancer patients within HCA Florida Memorial Hospital’s Commission on Cancer accredited program Participate in the Breast Program Leadership group, overseeing breast cancer services and case reviews Offer comprehensive breast cancer services, including education, screening, imaging, surgery, treatments, and survivorship care Work with a multidisciplinary Breast Care Team including radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, navigators, and other health providers Utilize the Breast Imaging Center’s advanced imaging modalities and image-guided biopsy services Recognized as a National Accreditation Program for Breast Cancers and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence Incentives/Benefits: Employment through HCA Physician Services Group Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, etc. PTO and CME allowance Occurrence-based malpractice coverage About HCA Florida Jacksonville: Full-service, 454-bed acute-care hospital Level II trauma center About HCA Florida Healthcare: A network of over 450 care sites including hospitals, physician practices, emergency rooms, and urgent care centers, serving over 6.4 million patients annually across Florida.
