Description Victor Valley Global Medical Center, founded in 1967, is a 101-bed acute care hospital and premier healthcare facility in Victorville, a community in the high desert. Gold seal of approval from the Joint Commission Variety of cases, including regional anesthesia, orthopedic, regional blocks, and OB. Most cases are ASA 1-2. No chronic pain management, cardiac, major vascular anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, neuroanesthesia, trauma anesthesia, critical care medicine, usually anesthesia for outpatient surgery, office-based anesthesia, rarely administrative / leadership duties, no pre-op screening clinic or acute pain. OR call is four to six calls a month. Anesthesiologist on first call: flexible, both first and backup call receive stipends.
