We're seeking a skilled Histologist for a full-time position on either the second or third shift , offering a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment with opportunities for technical advancement and competitive shift differential pay .

As a Histologist , you will be part of a high-volume clinical lab performing complex histologic procedures with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and turnaround time. This role involves routine and advanced histology processes, including embedding, microtomy, staining (H&E and special), and IHC. You ll play a key role in supporting pathology services and contributing to a team that helps drive timely diagnoses and improved patient outcomes.

We currently have openings on second and third shift , both of which offer competitive shift differentials for evening and overnight hours.

• Perform routine histology functions: gross receipt, embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue specimens

• Execute high-quality microtomy, including difficult or delicate tissue types

• Perform H&E, special stains, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures

• Ensure proper documentation and labeling of slides and blocks

• Maintain and operate histology instruments and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed

• Adhere to laboratory quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance standards

• Support continuous improvement efforts in workflow and turnaround times

• Be part of a respected clinical laboratory serving a wide regional patient base
