Director, Global Policy Analytics & Evidence Job Description The Director of Global Policy Analytics & Evidence is a critical role in the Global Policy & Government Affairs organization. Reporting to the Head of Global Policy Analytics & Evidence, this individual will be responsible for conducting analytics & generating evidence for business-critical policy issues worldwide to support the broader global policy strategy. This role involves collaborating with teams across Global Policy & Government Affairs, Global Market Access, and cross-functional partners to execute policy analytics and evidence generation, including building economic/financial models and conducting policy research to generate evidence to support and advance business objectives and optimize patient access to medicines globally. Responsibilities
Conduct analytics & generate evidence for business-critical policy issues to support the company’s global policy strategy. Proactively monitor and identify business-relevant policy issues, evaluate the business impact of policy, develop risk-mitigation strategies, and generate evidence to shape and advance policy. Co-create & support the company’s policy positions through robust analytics & evidence generation. Provide strategic input into company strategy to ensure policy considerations are incorporated into all key business decisions (go/no-go decisions, portfolio prioritization, business development/M&A, etc.). Requirements
8-10 years of policy analytics and/or research experience in healthcare policy and/or economics. Strong data & analytics capabilities, with extensive experience in statistical analyses & modelling. Robust understanding of U.S. and global healthcare market dynamics as they relate to policy changes at the state, federal, and international levels. Deep understanding of government payer dynamics and other stakeholders in the healthcare system. Experience in developing models & analyses that incorporate disparate types of data including financial, medical and pharmaceutical claims data, healthcare utilization and cost data, Medicare and Medicaid data, etc. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex statistical analysis/modelling to a broad audience in a manner aligned with company goals. Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team, handle ambiguity well, and manage high-pressure situations under tight timelines. Graduate degree in a related field such as health policy, economics, statistics, finance, or applied mathematics is required. Compensation Overview:
Princeton, NJ, US: $206,210 - $249,878; Washington DC, US: $206,210 - $249,878. The starting compensation range is for a full-time employee (FTE). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final compensation will be based on demonstrated experience. Eligibility for specific benefits may vary by job and location.
