Overview The Director, Product Marketing, provides leadership and strategic direction for the product marketing of a significant jewelry category or portfolio. This role leads a team of Product Leads/Managers and Specialists and is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive product strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance brand equity, and capture market share. The Director sets the overall product category 360 vision, defines key initiatives, manages its portfolio through a multi-year roadmap, and ensures alignment with the company\'s broader business objectives.

Strategic Leadership & Vision

— Develops and articulates a clear product category vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligned with the company\'s overall business objectives and brand strategy; identifies market opportunities, assesses competitive threats, and develops proactive strategies to maintain and grow market leadership; leads multi-year product plans considering market trends, consumer insights, and financial goals; presents product strategies to senior management with clear recommendations and justifications; ensures brand consistency across the jewelry product-related strategies; collaborates to craft the yearly marketing budget. Product Portfolio Management & Innovation

— Oversees the management of the entire category product portfolio (newness + existing lines), ensuring a balanced mix of innovative, high-growth, and core sustaining products; drives the new product development process from idea to launch with cross-functional teams (design, Sales Merchandising, PD, JDIW, supply chain) and defines the scope of this process; sets pricing strategies aligned with brand positioning, market competitiveness, and profitability goals; establishes and monitors KPIs for the portfolio; drives the identification, development, and launch of new collections; advises the supply chain on sourcing for the entire category. Marketing & 360 Activation

— Defines the 360 brief for all new product launches (including training content and sales targets) in collaboration with Sales Merchandising; participates in building visual merchandising guidelines; ensures consistent brand messaging and product positioning across all channels; collaborates with Communications Marketing to build compelling product stories and impactful advertising campaigns; briefs for the creation of marketing collateral, in-store displays, and digital assets, advising on scope. Team Leadership & Development

— Leads, manages, and develops a high-performing team of Product Leads/Managers and Specialists; provides coaching, mentorship, and training; sets clear expectations and conducts performance reviews; promotes a collaborative and results-oriented environment; manages the team budget within the assigned department; ensures alignment of team activities with company goals and broader mission. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing or Marketing, preferably in the luxury goods or jewelry industry, with a proven track record of launching and growing successful product lines and 360 activations. A passion for jewelry and the luxury goods industry; strong understanding of jewelry design, materials, and manufacturing processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization; strong ability to report up to VP levels. Proven leadership and team management skills with experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams; ability to hire successful individuals and address underperformance. Demonstrated curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and big-picture thinking. Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and forecasting sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). The hiring range for this position ranges from $165,495 - $233,640. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates\' relevant skills and experience.
