Dexian
Dexian is looking for a data engineer to work on critical systems for our client in Houston. This position will require a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
Required skills:
Develop and maintain various database applications on the IBM iseries platform, utilizing dynamic SQL, convert RPG code to SQL stored procedures, performance tuning, logging and exception handling. Expert SQL stored procedures, development experience in db2 IBM iseries platform. Able to read RPGIV, RPGLE, RPGFree programs, embedded SQL Nice to have Skills:
Conversion/modernization experience from RPG to SQL stored procedures in db2 IBM tools such as Aldon, RDI, ACS etc Application development experience interacting with front end using REST APIs, Json exposure to python, microservices, VS code IDE development git source control and integration
