THE ROLE

The Senior Compensation Partner, G&A is a senior member of Pure's HR Compensation Team, responsible for shaping, leading and scaling our compensation strategies for our G&A organizations. This highly visible individual contributor role drives enterprise-level impact, partnering with senior HR and business leaders across multiple business functions.

In this role, you'll operate as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic advisor - influencing senior stakeholders, guiding compensation decisions, and ensuring alignment to Pure's business and talent strategies. You will own and evolve complex compensation programs, provide data-driven insights, and lead cross-functional initiatives that enable growth, scalability, and an exceptional employee experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategic Partnership & Advisory

Act as the primary compensation advisor to senior HRBPs and business leaders, delivering insights that align pay strategies with organizational goals by enabling long-term talent success through strategic acquisition, engagement and retention Lead compensation strategy and execution for the Annual Compensation Cycle across G&A, ensuring fairness and consistency across rewards and alignment with Pure's pay for performance philosophy Act as a thought leader on emerging compensation trends, advising leadership on market competitiveness, regulatory considerations, and global best practices. Influence and consult with executives and senior leaders on complex pay decisions, including offers, retention packages, and organizational design initiatives. Serve as liaison between Compensation and Talent teams to ensure alignment across HR and enablement of partners, managers and employees around job and pay programs Program Leadership & Operational Excellence

Lead the transformation of Compensation COE operational activities into an HR Global Shared Services model, driving scalability, efficiency, and seamless transitions of compensation processes. Own the design and ongoing evolution of competitive compensation structures (base, incentives, and recognition programs) across G&A functions. Lead cross-functional projects with HR, Finance, and Legal to build, communicate, and operationalize compensation programs and policies. Drive excellence in program execution through advanced project management skills - ensuring scalability, visibility, and stakeholder alignment across multiple geographies. Provide mentorship and informal leadership to junior compensation team members, elevating team capability and knowledge. Insights & Continuous Improvement

Leverage best practices to evolve Pure's compensation effectiveness and build knowledge base compensation practices and processes to drive efficiency and scale Champion continuous improvement in compensation processes, introducing automation, self-service tools, and manager enablement resources to scale globally. WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) is preferred 10+ years of experience in compensation management Ability to navigate complex challenges with strong analytical, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills Experience applying user-centered design thinking to shape impactful HR processes and experiences Ability to translate ambiguity into clarity through confident, clear communication - whether presenting to groups, leading workshops, or aligning stakeholders Influence without authority, by fostering cross-functional collaboration in both in-person and virtual environments Strong ownership mindset with a proactive, high-quality approach to work Trusted to handle sensitive information with maturity, discretion, and sound judgment Highly organized while managing competing priorities with resilience and focus Committed to continuous learning, improvement, and bringing a positive, "can-do" attitude to every challenge Proficiency in compensation management systems and tools We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave. #LI-ONSITE #LI-TH3

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.

The annual base salary range is:

$176,000-$265,000 USD
