Hematology/Oncology Physician - Locum Tenens

Location: Indiana

Dates Needed: December 1, 2025 - July 1, 2026

Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, Telehealth

EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

• Board Certified / Board Eligible
• Active Indiana license or IMLC eligible
• Fellowship training required
• BLS certification required
• Trauma level: 3

Details:
Noor Locums is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This position offers a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth responsibilities with a primary focus on outpatient care.

Outpatient Clinic Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 36 hours of patient care per week
• Flexible scheduling available between 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hospital Call Coverage:

• Rotation every 4th or 5th week
• One full week at a time
• Weekdays: new consults only
• Weekends: rounding only

Practice Model:

• Primary focus on outpatient care
• On-call provider manages new hospital consults
• Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients
• New consults are assigned to the on-call provider after initial evaluation

Patient Mix:

• 70% Oncology
• 30% Hematology (primarily benign cases)
