Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting operational functions and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Location: St. Louis, MO Shift: Hours are 6pm-6:30am on the same rotating 2 week schedule as our MFG Techs. (Week 1 - M,T,F,S / Week 2 - Su, W, Th). Duration: 12 Months Contract What's the Job? Support operational functions within chemical manufacturing processes Operate and monitor large-scale reaction vessels, centrifuges, and dryers Assist with chemical addition to reactors, ensuring precise procedures are followed Participate in process improvement initiatives and troubleshoot operational issues Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols What's Needed? Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a production or chemical manufacturing environment Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred; or an Associate degree with extensive experience Experience with industrial equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, and dryers Forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial equipment Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in rotating shifts, including night schedules What's in it for me?
