Southcoast Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Tobey Hospital, Wareham, MA.

We are seeking a talented RN for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced community hospital emergency department. Our diverse staff is known for strong teamwork, and you will be part of a growing team in a state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee, coordinate total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit.
• Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Over three months up to and including one year of ED nursing experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption per policy (exemption must be documented if applicable).

Compensation

Pay range: USD $39.37 - USD $70.01 per hour. Pay will be determined based on level of experience.

Sign-On Details

• Up to $9,000 new hire sign-on bonus*
• Sign-on amounts vary by ED RN experience: $9,000 (3+ years), $7,200 (1–3 years), $6,000 (1+ years hospital RN or <1 year ED RN)
• Rehires termed greater than 1 year are eligible

*New hires eligible for sign-on subject to policy terms.

Schedule & Location

Location: Tobey Hospital, Wareham, MA

Hours: 24 hours

Shift: Evening shift, 7:15 pm – 3:15 am with weekend and holiday rotation

Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
