Job Description

Our company is looking to hire a hardworking, reliable and flexible warehouse associate to join our fast-paced, growing environment. We are currently in need of skilled forklift operators that are certified and comfortable operating all of the following forklifts: Stand up rider reach truck, Cherry Picker forklift, and walk behind pallet jacks. Selected individuals will be responsible but not limited to the following duties.   

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent and detailed order picking / Loading / staging.
  • Identify and source materials from appropriate locations, utilize appropriate equipment to process orders.
  • Re-stack and organize material for order on pallet per general operating best practices.
  • Utilize barcode scanner or other electronic device to stage and print label for each pallet staged.
  • Follow two-step verification procedures for all staged pallets before storing pallets in staging bay and proceeding to the next staged pallet.
  • Load and verify pallets on outbound trucks per scheduled truck dispatch list as determined by Outbound Shipping Team lead.
  • Receive shipments, unload trucks, and stage in relevant areas for efficient processing using various material handling equipment and overhead crane.
  • Receive finished goods from production environment upon completion and input to ERP system. 
  • Allocate and distribute raw materials and component inventory to production environment for assembly into finished goods
  • Process cycle count reports and on-demand counting of physical inventory located on-site.

  • Identify, communicate, and problem solve inventory variances and items for purchase when identified through inventory counting, order staging, or other assigned verification tasks.
  • Follow safety rules and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have 2+ years of experience on stand-up rider reach forklifts.
  • Strong ability to organize, plan, and work independently in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Education and Experience:

  • Stand-up rider forklift experience: 2 years (certified preferred)
  • Industrial Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
