Be among the first 25 applicants. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent/Construction Manager to join our residential construction company in the Bay Area. As a key team member, you will work directly with the Director of Project Management to oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will work closely with our business partner, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional results. Expected to be 60% onsite and 40% office work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to meet project deadlines
  • Supervise and direct construction crews, including scheduling and resource allocation
  • Foster a safe and productive work environment, promoting quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to determine project timelines and budgets
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients
  • Identify and resolve construction issues, implementing cost-effective solutions
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to ensure project progress
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Maintain high-quality construction standards, adhering to client specifications

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in residential construction management or a related field
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Strong knowledge of construction budgeting, scheduling, and quality control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and construction planning tools
  • Certifications: OSHA certification, construction management certifications (e.g., CMAA), or other relevant industry certifications
  • Work 60% on construction sites, with 40% office visits for meetings, project planning, scheduling, submitting RFI to architects and engineers
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions, navigate construction site hazards, and lift up to 50 pounds
