Territory Account Managers also develop and implement programs to establish Wilbur-Ellis as the leading, value-added provider of agronomic products and services to Wholesale customers, Alliance Partners, and their grower customers.A Sample of What You'll Do in this Role: Manage all aspects of existing Wholesale and Alliance Partners accounts Identify key customers, understand their business, determine their needs, and develop plans and actions to build a complete a strong relationshipCommunicate with District and Regional management regarding territory initiatives, objectives, strategies, and action plans Manage the support resources for the territory including value-added nutrition, branded products, seed treatment, purchasing, and technologyOversee the implementation and success of the plans and objectives of territory personnel Lead business planning, forecasting, and communication of the sales performance objectives for the territory Identify and communicate growth opportunities through acquisition, new market development, and geography expansion Develop annual business plans that optimize growth and profitability for the territory Guide product pricing for the territory with District Sales Manager's guidance Implement marketing and sales plans that drive towards achieving sales and profit goalsNetwork with suppliers and industry representatives to expand market opportunitiesWhat You Bring to the Role:Minimum of 10 years of experience in the agriculture business with demonstrated track record in sales, marketing, or location management Excellent written and oral communication skills with an ability to lead and influence Detail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Bachelor's degree or higher in Agriculture or a Business-related field is preferred What Makes You a Great Fit:You have solid interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitudeYou're able to establish and maintain strong relationships with branch personnel, peers, and customers You can work independently with minimum supervision You're willing to travel and be away from home for short periods of time Compensation and Benefits: In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $118,300 - $165,660. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
