Job Description
Prepare detailed estimates for office and retail renovations, corporate interiors, and other commercial projects Review conceptual documents and provide accurate early-stage budgets Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships; solicit and review bids Work closely with the Director of Estimating to finalize proposals and submissions Assist with value engineering and cost modeling during preconstruction phases MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
4+ years estimating experience with a commercial GC (office/retail fit-outs highly preferred) Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings Strong ability to carry estimates from conceptual through client-ready submission Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills with project stakeholders What's on Offer
