As a Medical Assistant you will be an integral part of helping to communicate with and educate patients, as well as assisting providers during medical and cosmetic procedures. VitalSkin Dermatology is a modern and fastpaced practice well known for its treatment of virtually all skin conditions located at 1733 Harlem Ave Chicago, IL 60707.
Monday Through Friday @ $20-$23 (Based on Experience)
Medical Assistant Requirements
Certified Medical Assistant and Scribing experience preferred but not required CPRBLS & Bloodborne Pathogen Certification preferred At least one year of Dermatology and/or Cosmetic Surgery experience Ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient, and comprehensive care EMR experience - preferably ModMed (EMA) or comparable software Demonstrate consistent adherence to the practice's standards and procedures Passion for healthcare Must ensure compliance with all HIPPA regulations At least 2 years of customer service experience Previous experience in the medical field is a plus High school diploma or equivalent Basic Typing, Math & English skills Advanced proficiency with computers Detailed-oriented Proactive & take initiative Effective Communication Skills Positive Team Player Able to Multitask Excel under pressure Empathetic Availability to work before and after scheduled time to meet client needs Benefits Merit based competitive pay On-the-job training, and direct hands-on experience with patients Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) Voluntary insurance 401K retirement Paid time off (holidays, sick time, and vacation) Complimentary or discounted services
