Job Summary:
The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment, on-boarding, orientation and compliance requirements for volunteer service. May participate in volunteer recognition events and special events to fundraise for the organization. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Two years of related work experience is required. Previous experience with volunteer groups and services is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources or a related field is required. In lieu of formal education, a High School diploma or equivalent and a total of 5 years of experience is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Strong organizational and planning skills are required. Strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills are required. Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Database management is preferred.
