Director, HR Business Partner - Multi-Site Service Operations
We're seeking a proactive Director Level HR Business Partner to support a dynamic, multi-site, multi-state service organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with field leadership and front-line teams to drive people strategies that support growth, operational excellence, and employee engagement across a distributed workforce.
What You'll Do: • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across multiple locations • Lead HR initiatives around talent development, workforce planning, and succession strategies • Provide hands-on support with employee relations, coaching, and conflict resolution • Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and performance • Guide change management and support organizational growth and transformation • Manage recruitment efforts, partnering with Talent Acqusition and onboarding teams, to ensure top talent and smooth assimilation • Oversee performance management processes and compensation planning • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws, policies, and safety regulations • Liaise with HR Operations & Benefits Team to support clear communication of benefits, leave administration, and wellness programs across the organization
What You Bring: • Proven experience in a multi-site HRBP role-preferably in service, field, or operations-heavy industries • Strong relationship-building and coaching skills across diverse teams • Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices • Ability to manage change, drive continuous improvement, and influence outcomes • Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Requirements
Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree required, Masters and SPHR preferred.
Knowledge And Skills • Must have experience in partnering with business leaders to meet business objectives. • Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change. • Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and org dev. experience. • Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with customers where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed. • Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives. • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required. • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance. • Confidentiality is a must. • Ability to build trust and serve as an employee advocate. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Computer knowledge and skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HRIS experience. • Pleasant personality must interact with all levels of personnel, customers, and vendors. • Ability to manage numerous projects and meet deadlines as required. • Conscientious, organized, and meticulous - records must be accurate and maintained. • Ability to read, understand, and communicate internal procedures and policies. • Team oriented with a continuous improvement outlook. • Understanding of Behavioral Interviewing Techniques. • Ability to problem solve and conduct root cause analysis. • Ability to understand lean principles/methodology. • Basic understanding of accounting and finance reports/principles. • Ability to create presentations and to make presentations to employees at all levels.
