Responsibilities
Manage activities, workflow and nursing resources for one or more assigned specialty nursing areas:
Emergency/Triage, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit(s). Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s). Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health
ervices in the unit(s). Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for the assigned unit(s). Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure
compliance with budget guidelines. Ensure a high level of associate, patient and physician satisfaction. Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff. Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart
Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date required. Education:
Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative
leadership experience required. Additional Preferences
Advanced Care for Newborns:
Our Level 3 NICU provides specialized care for infants born prematurely or with serious medical conditions, including critical respiratory support, advanced life support and specialized monitoring. Utilizing state of the art technology, we ensure every baby receives the best chance for a healthy future. Our team of Neonatologists, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and other specialists work around the clock to provide individualized care, offering parents peace of mind while their newborns receive the highest level of care.
