Overview

Northrop Grumman Space SystemsLaunch and Missile Defense Systems seeks a Network Communications Network Monitoring Analyst (25-444) to join our team at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO. This role supports the C2BMC program, monitoring and maintaining networked systems to enable missile defense operations. The position is on-site with no remote option and requires on-call/shift work as part of a 24x7 operations environment. Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of local C2BMC network hardware and software Document and report events and issues to the CWO and receive tasks from the CCC for operations, testing, and real-world events Install network hardware and software as directed by SMEs and create/maintain user accounts as directed by the ISSO Employ knowledge of network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, network management and monitoring) and applicable management/monitoring tools Utilize monitoring, network diagnosis, and analysis tools; work with virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter, vSphere) Use remote access tools (SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP) and demonstrate strong Cisco IOS, JUNOS command proficiency Maintain Windows Server systems and work collaboratively in a team environment Prepare documentation and reports; assist with operations and testing as required Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field (preferred) with 2 years of experience; or Masters degree with 0 years of experience; or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance, eligibility to start and obtain Top Secret clearance; eligible for SCI Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNA, CISSP, etc.) Willingness to rotate 24/7 shift work; 12-hour shifts with potential off-shift rotation including nights and weekends Preferred Qualifications

Current TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred Hands-on experience with network management tools Familiarity with encryption devices (e.g., TACLANEs) Basic Linux/Unix server maintenance knowledge Experience coordinating with other DoD agencies and network operations organizations What We Can Offer You
