What You'll Do:
- Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others to ensure zero accidents and compliance with all policies.
- Organize and Plan Production: Schedule daily plant operations to optimize utilization of equipment, personnel, and inventory, including site planning and pit development.
- Manage Employee Relations: Provide leadership, training, and supervision; work with HR on recruitment, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor Processes and Materials: Analyze production and quality control, monitor operational reports, and implement preventive maintenance.
- Maintain Compliance: Build a safety culture, ensure compliance with safety, operations, and environmental policies, and manage employee health and safety.
- Inspect Equipment and Perform Repairs: Oversee daily inspection and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Supervisory experience in production, preferably in aggregates, sand/gravel, or asphalt plants.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to motivate and develop teams.
- Operational Knowledge: Understanding of mining, concrete, asphalt operations, MSHA regulations, and quality control.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to motivate, build relationships, and communicate effectively.
- Financial Knowledge: Experience managing financial performance and meeting targets.
- Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
