What You'll Do:

  • Promote Safety: Prioritize safety for yourself and others to ensure zero accidents and compliance with all policies.
  • Organize and Plan Production: Schedule daily plant operations to optimize utilization of equipment, personnel, and inventory, including site planning and pit development.
  • Manage Employee Relations: Provide leadership, training, and supervision; work with HR on recruitment, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor Processes and Materials: Analyze production and quality control, monitor operational reports, and implement preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain Compliance: Build a safety culture, ensure compliance with safety, operations, and environmental policies, and manage employee health and safety.
  • Inspect Equipment and Perform Repairs: Oversee daily inspection and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Supervisory experience in production, preferably in aggregates, sand/gravel, or asphalt plants.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to motivate and develop teams.
  • Operational Knowledge: Understanding of mining, concrete, asphalt operations, MSHA regulations, and quality control.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to motivate, build relationships, and communicate effectively.
  • Financial Knowledge: Experience managing financial performance and meeting targets.
  • Working Conditions: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.
