Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Staff Accountant, you will be entrusted with a wide array of responsibilities. These include:
1. Preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
3. Conducting financial audits and implementing corrective actions as required.
4. Assisting in budget preparation and financial planning processes.
5. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
6. Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
7. Identifying and recommending process improvements to optimize financial operations.
8. Participating in special projects and performing ad hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with a strong focus on financial statements.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
9. Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
