Progress Action Fund
Overview
As the Progress Action Fund scales its digital program and continues to build influence among younger voters, we need a dedicated Social Media Content Creator/Manager to drive engagement, manage our brand voice across platforms, and translate viral creative into sustained growth. Primary Objectives
Produce and edit high-quality social content (short-form video, graphics, copywriting). Manage and grow Progress Action Fund’s presence across TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Optimize organic content for reach and engagement among young men. Coordinate with ad testing, analytics, and communications silos to integrate social media with broader digital strategy. Content Creation
Develop daily/weekly content tailored for each platform. Repurpose ad creative into bite-sized, shareable clips. Experiment with memes, influencer-style videos, and trend-jacking. Host 1-2 hour TikTok Lives. Community Management
Monitor comments, mentions, and DMs for engagement opportunities. Identify and engage with influencers aligned with PAF’s mission. Analytics & Optimization
Track performance metrics (views, engagement rate, CTR). Report weekly on which content is performing best and recommend any necessary pivots. Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with the ad testing/analytics team to align organic strategy with paid media. Coordinate with communications to sync messaging with earned media pushes. Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing. Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent). Ability to write sharp, on-brand copy that fits our tone (edgy, viral, youth-oriented). Track record of growing audiences on TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. Passion for progressive politics and familiarity with Gen Z online culture. Day to Day
6-8 videos of content each day. Go Live for 1-2 hours on TikTok and other platforms. Engage with other creators. Engage with the community and start building an online presence. Stay on top of current political and cultural trends. Salary: A salary of $5,000-$7,500 per month, based on experience. Job Details
