Overview The Marketing Technology team is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for the technical design and configuration, implementation, and optimization of marketing automation solutions on the SFMC platform. The Specialist will mentor junior developers and ensure the scalability, security, and performance of SFMC initiatives. Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of SFMC-based marketing automation solutions.

Translate business needs into technical solutions leveraging SFMC architecture and integrations (AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, API).

Mentor junior developers and promote best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing SFMC initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable designs following system-design best practices.

Oversee data model integrity, usage limits, and data security within SFMC.

Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex issues and long-term improvements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a SFMC specialist on complex projects.

Strong experience with SFMC core modules: Journey Builder, Content Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Cloud Pages.

Expert-level proficiency in AMPscript, Server-Side JavaScript, and SQL.

Experience with Responsive HTML/CSS and JavaScript for web and email clients.

Experience with REST/JSON API clients.

Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud data models.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 years in SFMC.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Certifications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related tools are a plus.

Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins) and knowledge of web security frameworks (e.g., OWASP).
