Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is at the forefront of cloud innovation, rapidly expanding its platform and multiplying capacity year over year. This momentum is a driving force behind Oracle’s global growth and transformation. The Hardware Provisioning organization within OCI is strategically re-architecting our provisioning layer to support exponential scale and deliver advanced capabilities for OCI GPU Servers. We are seeking a talented Principal Software Engineer with deep experience in GPU and Networking technologies to help build the infrastructure powering tomorrow’s cloud. If you are passionate about large-scale cloud operations and possess hands-on expertise provisioning, managing, and monitoring GPUs from industry leaders such as NVIDIA and AMD, we want to hear from you! Join the Team

The Hardware Provisioning organization delivers the System Software stack that manages and provisions the Server Infrastructure in OCI. When a customer relinquishes a server in Oracle Cloud, that server must be securely re-provisioned with trusted firmware in all hardware components – GPUs, Network, Storage, and BMC. Further, our tools are also used by our factories when manufacturing servers to ensure they are provisioned with trusted firmware. Responsibilities

Be a core member of a dynamic team that designs and delivers the system software stack underpinning OCI’s server infrastructure for GPU-accelerated servers. Develop secure provisioning and management solutions, ensuring robust performance, reliability, and security from manufacturing to deployment and operations. Work across all phases of the software life cycle: architecting, designing, developing, testing, releasing, and supporting cloud management software that sets industry standards. Collaborate with internal and external partners, including hardware vendors and enterprise customers, in a DevOps model to deliver solutions. Engage with user applications, APIs, and low-level hardware interfaces across the environment. Utilize C/C++, Python, Linux, and GPU and Networking programming in product development. Communicate effectively with a geographically diverse team across many technology consumers. Qualifications

Deep experience with GPU and Networking technologies and hands-on work provisioning, managing, and monitoring GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a distributed team. Comfort operating in a large-scale cloud environment, contributing to secure and reliable server provisioning and operations.
