Director, Software Engineering

in the

Accountabilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, including roles such as Lead Software Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer.

Oversee the resolution of production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediation strategies.

Ensure quality integration and adherence to engineering standards across ERP, WFM, and marketing systems.

Collaborate with senior leaders to define project prioritization strategies and resource allocation plans.

Implement contingency and redundancy plans for critical systems within scope.

Drive innovation and improvement initiatives across software engineering processes and technology stack.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 7 years of relevant software engineering experience, with at least 5 years managing engineering teams.

5+ years of experience with ERP and WFM systems such as JDA, Oracle, or NetSuite.

Strong technical expertise with .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL technologies (VB.NET, C#, Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Visual Studio).

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Splunk, XML, XSLT, and JavaScript.

Demonstrated proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) and eCommerce platforms such as Aptos, Micros, or Oracle POS.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
