We are looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst to join the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety & Compliance (RISC) Global Data & Analytics (GDA) team. The role is part of the Analytics team and focuses on driving proactive and reactive analysis and insights to help make meaningful business decisions. You will analyze data, build metrics and business cases to improve customer experience, provide timely data support for escalations to mitigate risk, and design automated reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions. The role requires identifying process and system improvement opportunities by developing the right metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams. You will retrieve and aggregate data from multiple sources and compile it into a digestible and actionable format to enable effective decision making. We are focused on your success and aim to build future leaders within Amazon. A key component of the role is to design and develop automated reporting solutions and to empower stakeholders with self-service data access. We value an individual with excellent statistical and analytical abilities, deep knowledge of business intelligence solutions, and strong business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and a drive to innovate in this space. Responsibilities
Creating automated reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QuickSight) Partnering with Program teams, Legal, and Tech stakeholders to understand challenges and provide analysis to drive program success Providing data support for business and cross-functional partners to address escalations and answer questions using PostgreSQL and AWS solutions Uncovering trends and correlations through mining and analysis to develop actionable insights Designing and executing analytical projects using statistical methods Building and growing adoption of self-service analytics solutions for stakeholders Engaging with senior leaders across the business to understand needs and align analytics solutions with broader goals Contributing to team planning by articulating a compelling analytics vision Basic Qualifications
3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field 3+ years of Excel experience (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, Power Pivot) and data visualization tools (Tableau or similar) 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to derive business insights Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders 3+ years of experience writing SQL queries and creating BI reports Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market.
