Community Resource Center Manager

The Community Resource Manager leads the Resource Center team and oversees programs including rental and utility assistance, clothing vouchers, CalAIM, and Workforce Development. This role ensures clients are served, staff are supported, and program goals are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees daily operations and staff scheduling
Train new staff on all aspects of center operations
Lead department meetings and attend required trainings
Supervise CalAIM and Workforce Development initiatives, ensuring compliance and timely reporting
Provide backup for rental screenings, HPAT assessments, and case management
Coordinate with Housing Coordinator to manage caseloads and intake schedules
Ensure contract compliance and monitor grant funding, keeping supervisor informed
Complete reports for funders, including HMIS and WellSky data
Review monthly center statistics and provide analysis to supervisor
Identify potential funding sources and share with the Director of Business
Maintain relationships with partner agencies and represent The Salvation Army at EAN and other meetings
Stay informed on policies, procedures, and services of similar agencies
Collaborate with Volunteer Coordinator, Event Coordinator, and Silicon Valley Administrator to plan community events
Ensure services align with The Salvation Army’s mission
Monitor client files for accuracy and compliance
Other related duties as required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Degree in social work or related (preferred)
Experience with Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) (preferred)
Culturally competent and able to work with a highly diverse population
Social service and leadership experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work with little direct supervision
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Compassion and empathy when working with clients
Ability to be flexible

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
