In partnership with Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, Adkisson Search is currently seeking a Classical (Benign) Hematologist to join the renowned Hematology Division at Houston Methodist Hospital, consistently ranked the #1 hospital system in Texas by U.S. News & World Report. This is a unique opportunity to practice within a thriving academic medical center located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center—one of the largest and most comprehensive medical campuses in the world. We are seeking a compassionate, patient-centered physician to diagnose, treat, and manage non-malignant hematologic disorders. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign hematologic conditions, including anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, and thrombophilia.
Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and blood transfusions when clinically indicated.
Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Contribute to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
