The
Agile Scrum Master/Agile Coach
supports agile teams in delivering value efficiently and effectively by guiding agile practices, coaching team members, and facilitating continuous improvement. Partnering closely with Product Owners and leadership, this role manages backlogs, removes impediments, and ensures that agile ceremonies run smoothly. Additionally, the Scrum Master coordinates across multiple teams with interdependencies to deliver integrated solutions and reinforces agile principles in daily work. Requirements Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Owners to plan and execute high-priority work aligned with the product roadmap. Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and scrum of scrums as needed. Coach and mentor teams to enhance agile maturity, performance, and collaboration. Track and maintain squad performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) and artifacts for team transparency. Identify and remove impediments that hinder team productivity or delivery. Support cross-team coordination and release planning for multiple systems teams with interdependencies. Organize and present ideas clearly and concisely to stakeholders across all levels. Participate in communities of practice, sharing Scrum knowledge and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. Manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering customer value. Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. Advanced Scrum Master certification preferred; additional Project Management experience and certification highly valued. Substantial experience working with agile teams, with a strong understanding of agile practices, tools (e.g., Jira, Kanban, Lean), and value delivery for customers. Proven ability to coach, mentor, and support complex teams in achieving high performance. Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills. Experience maintaining metrics, tracking performance, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
