Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description This position is for an adaptive acuity unit that occasionally requires providing Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio. This aspect of the role is non-negotiable and cannot be refused. Candidates must have drip experience and a willingness to float to any inpatient unit within their scope of practice.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care in an adaptive acuity unit environment.
Deliver care to a maximum of 5 patients in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting.
Occasionally provide Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care as needed.
Assist in the supervision of staff and operations as a charge nurse.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of current medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
Charge nurse experience is required.
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience is strongly required.
ICU experience is strongly preferred.
Valid ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications.
Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
Minimum of 3 months previous travel experience is required.
