Interval Staffing
Interval Solutions Group, a growing HR and staffing firm, is seeking a motivated HR & Operations Assistant to be the operational backbone of our team as we relaunch our office space and expand into new services like tax preparation. This essential role requires a blend of administrative, recruiting, and employee support duties, including reaching out to job seekers, managing new employee onboarding into our payroll system, and handling all employee communication (calls, texts, emails). The position will start as part-time, offering immediate in-office support, and is to transition to a full-time role by this upcoming tax season to assist with our new service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing & Recruiting Support:
Reach out to and communicate with job seekers when filling open roles, managing the initial candidate pipeline.
Employee Onboarding & Payroll:
Seamlessly onboard new employees, collecting necessary paperwork and accurately entering data into our payroll system.
Employee Communications:
Act as the primary point of contact for employees, expertly answering and managing all incoming phone calls, texts, and emails regarding HR, payroll, and general questions.
Office Administration:
Assist with general office tasks and preparation for our upcoming office relaunch (e.g., organizing, updates).
Future Growth:
Expand into supporting our new Tax Preparation and ITIN services by assisting with client intake and documentation starting this tax upcoming season.
What We're Looking For
Must be able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in both English and Spanish.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Prior HR or Staffing experience is a significant plus.
A professional and service-oriented demeanor when communicating with external candidates and internal employees.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Must be able to reliably work from our office in West New York, NJ.
