A role you will love
The Business Negotiations Consultant II is responsible for vetting feasibility of new transactions, contract review and negotiation, summarizing requirements and presenting transactions for approval, closing transactions, relationship building with customers, and collaborating with legal, account management onboarding teams.
Some of your key responsibilities may include:
Deal negotiation and onboarding of new business, typically starting on moderately complex transactions with new or existing smaller client relationships. Will have direct authority to sign deal documents. Evaluating new business opportunities to ensure they fit within CCT guidelines and meet established pricing standards, factoring in accepted risks and required duties. Relationship management and responding to general account service issues, resolving client problems in a timely manner in partnership with other functional teams as necessary, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. Interacting with Sales representatives to provide detailed expertise for certain sales calls, meetings and presentations as needed. Covering multiple product types simultaneously as business needs dictate. Maintaining or creating checklists and other guidance regarding deal management and closing, for general departmental use by other BNCs.

Required qualifications:
5+ years of experience in most of the following: capital markets, corporate trust, contract negotiation, financial services, securitization, or business development
Desired qualifications:
Experience with trustee, securities administration, agency and related services with a detailed understanding of structured finance and related contracts, complex problem analysis and resolution skills, preferably with specific knowledge in CLO or CMBS. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information. Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, effective organizational, and prioritizing skills are strongly desired. Must be able to manage workload to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, and able to interact with all levels of an organization. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment; where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

Compensation . The base pay range for this role is $70,562- $89,000. This base pay range is specific to Columbia, MD and may not be applicable to other locations.
