Job Title: Temp-to-Hire Bookkeeper
Location: Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (100% Onsite)
Pay Rate: $20–$26/hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team in Ponte Vedra Beach. This is a 100% onsite position with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in day-to-day accounting functions and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Perform bank and account reconciliations

  • Process payroll or assist with payroll-related tasks

  • Maintain general ledger and assist with month-end close

  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

  • Support external audits and tax preparation

  • Handle vendor communications and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain organized records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small office environment

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)



Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
