The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Affiliation with New York City Health Hospitals | Queens serving culturally diverse communities in Queens, New York, seeks a physician leader to join our team at Queens as the Chief of Anesthesiology. The Chief will be responsible for the administration, planning, organizing and overall general management of the Anesthesia department. In addition, the Chief will provide services to patients of all ages, with possible multiple diseases, trauma, pregnancy or other complications. Candidates must have a MD or DO degree and be board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Qualified candidates should have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills. Prior management/leadership positions and experience with academic medical centers and/or public health systems are preferred. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
