Responsibilities / The Position

Applications are currently being accepted for the Bond Communications Coordinator in the Communications Department located at San Diego College of Continuing Education. Hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Selected candidates must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department’s needs. This is a restricted position funded for a specific period, supported by a bond with an anticipated duration of 10-15 years. While the position may be extended if funding is renewed, continuation is not guaranteed. Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor. Location: Continuing Education. Pay Information: Range 28 ($5,557.35- $8,046.06) per month based on the current

Classified salary schedule . New employees begin on Step C ($5,557.35) and this is non-negotiable. Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the CBA. This position is FLSA Non-exempt (may accrue overtime). Excellent benefits are provided to all contract employees with assignments greater than or equal to 50% FTE and all eligible dependents. A temporary probationary period applies to the employee entering this assignment.
