Family Medicine Residency Spokane is seeking a full-time, board-certified Family Medicine physician for a faculty position. The program was established in 1972 as a flagship Family Medicine Residency affiliated with the University of Washington School of Medicine. It educates 6 core residents and two rural-track residents per year in a state-of-the-art teaching health clinic, and collaborates with Internal Medicine and Psychiatry Residencies in a patient-centered, medical-home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic (STHC). The sponsoring institutions are a consortium between Washington State University, Empire Health Foundation and Providence Health & Services. Duties capitalize on your talent and passion in the following capacities: Direct and indirect supervision and instruction of resident physicians in the STHC and obstetrical floor. Inpatient hospital duties are preferred but not required. Abbreviated direct patient care in the STHC and/or Maternity Clinic. Call while staffing the Family Medicine hospital service and/or obstetrical service. Advising resident physicians. Delivering didactic lectures, workshops and informal educational presentations. Curricular and programmatic oversight. A variety of administrative duties. Compensation is between $222,757 to $308,426 per year. The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, CME benefits may be available. This program collaborates with internal medicine and psychiatry residencies in a patient-centered medical home model at the Spokane Teaching Health Clinic, and is among the first programs with a rural training track in the country.
