Travel Job & Shift Unit ER/Med Surg Unit Type ER (Emergency Room) Division Nursing Care Setting Acute Shift Length 12 Guaranteed Hours 36 hours per week Years of Experience 2 Years License to Submit Yes BSN Required No Orientation Hours 8 Hours Required Certifications ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Shift Notes 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. One on call shift every 13 weeks. Additional Details Trauma Level CAH Charting System EPIC Unit Notes *Location will take local candidates. Radius is 80 miles or less to be considered local. Bill rate will be $8 less for locals. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.* All clinicians must badge in and out at facility 2 years RN experience Does this candidate require time off during the assignment? If yes, please put dates in the comments section. BLS- required before start ACLS- required before start TNCC- preferred 6 months MS exp in the past year 6 months ER exp in the past year NRP- Would be great to have on hand, can be done onsite with approval. Is required. 1. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Med Surg and ER Nursing 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Sanford One Charge, Pixis, 3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. Able to function independently in the ER and function in MS unit with up to 5 patients. 4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc) BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS 5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?) 36 hours per week - 12 hour shifts Every other weekend and holiday. 3 Call Shifts Required in a 13 week contract 6. Floating to over units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?) Will float between ER and Med Surg 7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 25 8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only) For Med/Surg - typicaly 3 to 4 to one - depending on census and acuity 9. Dress Code: Sanford Dress Code. Navy Scrubs, no logos, white can be worn under uniform or white lab coat 10.
