Schedule

  • NO WEEKENDS AND NO LATE NIGHTS
  • Monday: OFF (can work if desired)
  • Tuesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room
  • Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient
  • Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience
  • Actively monitor lab materials and supplies
  • Develop a relationship with the patient
  • Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines
  • Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed
  • Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs
  • Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Dental Assistant; licensed preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Other certifications as required by the state (e.g., Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant or RDAEF)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar is preferred
