Overview

Location: 2320 N. Lake Dr, Milwaukee, WI (travel within Milwaukee area). Schedule: Part Time (0.8), Day Shift, Monday - Friday. Hospital: Columbia St Mary’s.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a dentist/orthodontist, perform medical and administrative tasks to support patients and dental services staff.
• Assist with performing assessments and treatments.
• Perform diagnostic radiographs. Obtain alginate impressions for diagnostic and/or intra-oral appliances.
• Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry and patient registration; also assemble, decontaminate, sort, process and maintain dental instruments utilized throughout the facility.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies in clean working order. Keep examination areas clean, stocked and organized.
• Take on-call shifts when requested.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Dental Assistant preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Dental Assistant Experience Is Strongly Preferred
• Driver's License required
