Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting Physicians and Nurses in fulfilling the health care needs of our patients.
Schedule:
Part-Time
Day Shift
Night Shift
Minimum Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Certified by a professional organization in the state.
Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
Acute care experience preferred.
Essential Functions:
Takes vital signs and records height and weight.
Assists with PPDs and EKGs.
Draws blood and measures intake and output.
Provides assistance with patient treatments, including dressing changes, decubitus ulcer care, and tracheostomy care.
Adheres to Universal Precautions and established Infection Control procedures.
Schedules appointments and follows safety and security policies.
Participates in disaster drills and is proficient in CPR.
Assists in cleaning, sterilizing, and securing medical equipment.
Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
