Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work at a Facility in Blythe , California. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $28 / hour

Job Details:
- Area: Medical OT-8HR Class: PHLEB Shift: 1 Start: 06:00:00 End: 14:30:00
- At least one year (12 months) of experience within the last 36 months (3yrs) in Phlebotomy
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of CA
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Collect and store blood samples from patients
- Distribute samples to designated departments
- Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
- Maintain clean and healthy work environment
- Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Practice proper patient identification
- Label vials with patient names and dates
- Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient
- Expect to work with many patients varying in age and health status
- Be friendly, courteous and sympathetic when it comes to working with patients
- Keep your phlebotomy cart or station well-organized
- Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment
