A Warehouse / Driver Associate for Capital Electric is responsible for checking and loading material onto the truck, delivering material to customer orCapital Electric branch in a timely professional manner, and forming positive customer relationships to ensure the correct material reaches the customer while maintaining the reputation of providing a reliable and accountable delivery service.

Responsibilities:

Check material in staging area and load truck

Create shipping manifests

Perform truck maintenance inspections

Deliver material to customers and/or Capital Electric branch locations

Drive truck defensively, cautiously, and respectfully to various locations

Unload and place material where customer requests

Provide good customer service

Pick-up customer returns

Unload truck of customer return

Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision

Be on time and work diligently with co-workers

Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day

Other warehouse duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

2 years driving experience - tow motor experience required

CDL is preferred

No prior traffic violations or license suspensions for one year

Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on regular basis; up to 70 lbs. occasionally

Electrical parts knowledge is a plus

Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic
